TAPTAP is developing a solution for the agile roll-out of a network of interactive kiosks, to improve the shopping experience and grow the revenue of local businesses and community organisations.
Mobility policy, support for local production and safeguarding neighbourhood retail are public-sector priorities.
Together with support for digital technology, they form the pillars of Wallonia's Plan Marshall 4.0.
We are convinced that rolling out a network of kiosks, where consumers can find information and place orders, will stimulate the local economy of goods and services.
Because TAPTAP kiosks are installed at retailers and local businesses and community organisations, they broaden the range of goods and services offered to consumers and strengthen the visibility and revenue of our partners.
Mobility and energy transition
By favouring the nearest retailers, businesses and community organisations, we expect our solution to have a positive energy impact by promoting short supply chains.
We also encourage circular logistics, through relay hubs supported under the Plan Marshall 4.0.
Products and services are produced, promoted, bought, transported and consumed locally.
Stronger social ties and support for neighbourhood retail
Products can be collected from the retailer, local business or community organisation where the consumer placed the order via the interactive kiosk, or from dedicated relay hubs.
This drives footfall to the shop, or to the local business or community organisation hosting the kiosk.
It strengthens social ties and the development of low-energy logistics, both central to the sustainable development of our economy.
Smart cities and the digital economy
TAPTAP kiosks enable the purchase and promotion of local products and services, and also let local and regional authorities inform citizens.
They are equally an opportunity for tourism and cultural organisations.
Information is distributed individually, according to the location of each kiosk and criteria such as geolocation, date, or the times of day when the kiosks are used.
Digitalisation multiplies your points of sale.
